We started at Mahunga Drive, leaving at 1:55pm, and followed the coastline on a well-marked path through
to Favona Road. On our way we got lovely views across the Manukau Harbour to One Tree Hill and Mt Wellington.
We could also see Mangere mountain and walked alongside mangroves.
Our devotional was led by
Jenny Jones on the theme of hands. Jenny touched on the life of Dr Paul Brand, a hand surgeon based
in India who performed operations on leprosy sufferers. Jenny retold one of Dr Brand's sermons about
the hands of Jesus. We finished the walk at 4.15pm.
