The weather was atrocious in the morning. After 6 cancellations there was 16 walkers who braved the cold
and wind. Everyone arrived early. After a quick briefing of the walk and prayer we headed off at a brisk
pace through the school grounds entering the first bush quite quickly. The paths were different in each
bush. The ground was a little muddy in places but we all managed very well to stay together and look
after each other. There were long periods of pavement walking in between the bush walks. We saw some
beautiful views over the water and over to the Sky Tower. We abandoned the devotional as it was a south
easterly cold wind. Fortunately the weather was really good to us and the sun even shone. We arrived
back tired but dry! No rain Yeah! We had a time of fellowship along with homemade soup at Wilma and Ian’s.
