27 people showed up to explore the volcanic cone of Three Kings and surrounding reserves.
We met
at the carpark behind the Three Kings shopping centre at 2pm, then set out to do the short climb to the
summit of Three Kings with its distinct reservoir. On the way up we could look down into the Winstones
quarry.

From the top we had a good view looking towards Mt Eden and Mt Albert.

We then dropped down the other side to have a break for ice creams in Duke St.

Afterwards we went back through the Three Kings Domain to come out at Fyvie Ave for another short
break. We sang Happy Birthday to little Jeremy.

We went through to the Arthur Richards Memorial Park, a lovely area of lawn and trees.

From there we returned to the carpark, finishing about 4pm.
