Twenty-two people assembled at the start of the Orewa Estuary Walk. Christine Innes got everyone to say
their name and she prayed before we started. The walk was nearly 10 kms but flat walking. We went over
the bridge and around the estuary, going in a clockwise direction. The tide was going out as we carried
along the south shore of the estuary.
Halfway around we stopped for water and refreshments. Jill
Walker did the devotions on God our Rock, the one we always can depend on. We carried on along the northern
edge of the estuary to finish back at the Orewa Estuary Arts Centre carpark. The weather was cloudy and
we had a slight rainfall. A great walk enjoyed by all.
