Four members of the ABTC met four Thames trampers, one a Club member, at Neavesville Valley Road. We
travelled up the valley to the track start. From there we walked up the old road to the turn off, through
the pine forest. We passed the old log jam and then followed the bush track to the old Kiri Kiri stamper
battery. We followed old markers across a few small streams, up and down, then down a steep area to the
battery site. We had lunch there. Then we retraced our steps back to the cars, an enjoyable day and 5¾
hours journey. We were very grateful to our Thames guides Chub Quigg and Mike Morrison.
