Twenty-seven people gathered on the Walkers front lawn to receive instructions on our walk, a question sheet that Joy had composed on our walk and to start the walk of with prayer. We left on foot from Bracken Avenue and headed to Mt St John.  We walked around the crater and enjoyed the great views. Then we headed to Mt Hobson where we walked up to the trig and as it was rather windy we sought shelter on the other side to enjoy the views and a break. Joy answered the questions on Mt St John and Mt Hobson that she had prepared and since no one got close to 100% we all shared the English toffees she had bought. We headed back towards Newmarket, crossing over the motorway bridge and headed towards Withiel Drive which is off Gillies Ave, near the motorway on ramp. Where we did a short walk through some magnificent native bush. Some of us than headed for coffee in Mt Eden at Ironique and the others headed back to the cars.
