About 32 people sacrificed the Super 14 final, knowing that the Crusaders would thrash the Hurricanes
outright, to do an armchair journey to Europe with Garry and Alison and the Canadian Rockies with our
hosts Stuart and Helena.
The evening began with the usual mix-and-mingle over drinks and nibbles.

We then set off to Europe with Gary and Alison. We toured the city sights and country scenes of Turkey,
Hungary, Crete and and a few other places. Our data-projector plane touched down for a break, where we
enjoyed a yummy smorgasbord of pot-luck dessert.

Back in the air again we were heading for the Canadian Rockies with Stuart and Helena. We toured
the majestic mountains and lakes, and ventured into country laced with wild bears where at times there
were restrictions for safety, tramping parties must go in close-knit groups of at least 6 people.
