We had a good turnout of over 30 people for our Bush Barbeque evening at the home of Garry and Margaret
Thompson on the Rosebank peninsula at Avondale.
The BBQ began at 6pm, with the steaks, chicken
and bangers being barbied on the back porch. Once these were ready, they were brought inside, and Nelson
led us in grace before we helped ourselves to our yummy pot-luck dinner. This was followed by an equally
yumptious smorgasbord of dessert and a few hours of just sitting around talking and looking at photo
albums, etc. About 10pm everyone felt tired and headed off home having had a relaxing evening where our
tastebuds and tummies instead of our legs and feet did all the work!
